The Latest on Trans-Pacific Partnership and US-EU Trade Agreements

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is dominating the headlines at the moment. The countries in the TPP — which includes the U.S., Canada, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, and six other Asian countries — account for 40 percent of U.S. imports and exports. Another important trade agreement in the works is between the EU and US.

Of course, for every proponent of the deal there’s an opponent, not only here in the U.S. but in the other countries too.

In this episode, Pete Mento, Director Global Customs and Trade Policy at C.H. Robinson, provides an update on TPP and the EU-US free trade agreements. He discusses the key issues and opportunities associated with them, and what supply chain and logistics executives should expect and do in the weeks and months ahead.

If you have a question or comment for Pete, post it below and keep the conversation going!
