Do you still wear a mask?
There is an older gentleman who goes to my gym. He still wears a mask. But it’s always on his chin. It doesn’t cover his mouth and nose at all. When people walk up to him to chat, he doesn’t pull it up. He keeps it there, on his chin, laughing and talking.
I’m tempted to go up to him, pretend I’m a sociologist studying human behavior after the Covid pandemic, and ask him why he wears a mask on his chin.
I’m really curious, but not that curious.
I just walk up to him and ask if he’s done with the lat pulldown machine. “Yes, I am” he says, with a friendly smile above his chin mask.
I smile back.
