Better late than never.
I’m off to Eugene, OR with my oldest son today to watch the final day of the Track & Field Olympic Trials this weekend. This was his high school graduation gift — a year late.
But it will be worth the wait, I’m sure, despite the forecasted temperature for Sunday: 111 F!
Packing will be easy for this trip: shorts, t-shirts, a bathing suit, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
It’s been 16 months since I’ve been on an airplane. I can’t say I’ve missed it. But if the time has come to take flight again, what better way to start again than this?
