Above the Fold: Supply Chain Logistics News (February 27, 2026)

There is no 29th day of February this year, so I will mark the 2-year anniversary of my thyroidectomy — and the removal of lymph nodes from the neck —  tomorrow instead.

How’s life been without a thyroid?

Other than having to take a little pink pill every morning to keep me healthy and alive, life’s been good.

After meeting with my endocrinologist last month, she said, “I think we can push out our appointments to once a year now” — down from every 3 months the first year, and every six months last year.

You can barely see the surgical scar on my neck, and while it’s still there, the dark cloud of cancer over my head has lost its menacing shadow.

I don’t know where February 29th goes in the in-between years, but I’m still here, turning the calendar pages, each numbered day

a blessing.

And now, the supply chain and logistics news that caught my attention this week:

It’s one of those Fridays where I have places to go, people to see — so I’ll share my commentary next week.

In the meantime, have a meaningful weekend!
