I dreamt about my father this week.
It had been a long time since he last appeared in one of my dreams. I don’t remember much, except he was sitting in a chair and talking to me about a problem he was having, and I told him “Why don’t you just go online and send them a message?” and he said he couldn’t go online because every time he tried, it interfered with his phone.
I remember thinking in the dream, “I know what my sister and I need to get Papi for the holidays.”
And then I woke up.
The dream makes no sense to me, but it was nice to see my father again, after so much time apart, if only in a dream.
